Planning the wedding of your dreams

A cardinal issue is finding the desired style of your wedding. Dominating colors and hues, conservative or modern, spring or autumn? Luckily for you, the Zlaty Jelen guest house can provide a variety of different set ups to suit your needs. (See our gallery for ideas)

Accommodation, parking

It is becoming common courtesy to provide accommodation for wedding guests arriving from afar. Naturally, we also provide secure parking for your guests. For family and friends of the bride and groom, we are prepared to give significant discounts for those who wish to stay in the guest house overnight.

Civil ceremony

In case of a civil wedding ceremony, it is usually held in the city’s registry office. However, if you make a special request (and for an extra fee) it is possible for the office to relocate to the wedding site, in this case to our romantic setting at the Zlaty Jelen guest house.

Menu, drinks

Accompanying the traditional wedding menu we recommend a buffet as well. Meals can be prepared in the kitchen of our restaurant or we can arrange for a catering company of your choice. As far as beverages are concerned, you can choose from a wide selection of quality wines, premier beers, cocktails, and liquors.

Decoration

The forest environment of the Zlaty Jelen guest house, our garden terrace, and the fantastic set up at night will make your wedding a “once in a lifetime experience”.

Entertainment

Whether you want live music or any other choices, we will do our best to support your wishes. We can provide disco lights to enhance the wedding atmosphere in our cellar restaurant and if you want to hire a band we have more than enough room to accommodate the musicians. if you specifically request it, we can also set up our special disco lights outdoors to take the party outside on warm summer nights.

American elegance- wedding in a marquee

If you want to opt for something different than a reception in our atmospheric restaurant, we can easily rent an American-style marquee for less than the cost of renting out the restaurant. One advantage of a marquee wedding is the flexibility of the arrangement. It can fit 50 guests or even 200 to 300 guests in comfort. The decoration can be elegant and richly decorated or beautifully understated depending on your budget and wishes.

The giant white marquee in the spacious garden of our scenic Zlaty Jelen guest house was one of the reasons that so many of the brides and grooms of 2010 chose us for their special day.

As far as the seating arrangements are concerned, a marquee offers the most flexible options as seating is not limited by furniture. Chairs and tables can be placed in the most space-efficient fashion. In order to ensure the elegant atmosphere of a wedding, the majority of our guests insist on a round tables for their seating arrangement.

Restaurant (90 m²)

Our cellar restaurant provides an ideal place for smaller weddings of about 40 people including dancing. The arched ceiling and the romantic fireplace create an intimate atmosphere. The dance floor is lit by sleek spotlights.

Small Terrace (130 m²)

From spring to late fall our small terrace is open. the terrace is covered and can even be heated to keep you warm on those cooler nights. Furthermore, the terrace is connected to the cellar restaurant.
It can comfortably seat about 50-60 people.

Large Terasse (260 m²)

We also have a larger terrace that is located next to our 21 square meter swimming pool and can accomodate 100-120 persons at a time.

Terrace for smokers (25 m²)

For the smokers among you, we offer a quiet, ambient terrace that can always be accessed.

Birthdays, graduation ceremonies, family and friendly occasions

Who would not wish to celebrate significant events with family and friends in a pleasant, ambient environment? You do not have to worry about the menu or the room arrangement and we will do our best to meet your expectations may it be a small family occasion or a sizable event.

Our fifty-seat restaurant can be turned into one large dance floor illuminated by disco lights for some jolly good fun. Want to play your own music? No problemo! Be it your PC, DVD, MP3, iphone, you are welcome to play them all here or you can use our facalities.
