By car
Only 7 minutes by car is Kosice’s beautifully renewed downtown area that can only be likened to a jewelry box of the former Upper Hungary. You can get to our guest house in a few minutes at the end of a pleasant day spent here with your loved ones.
Public transport
The City Bus number 14 fares frequently to Bankó where our guest house is located. It is a good choice for those who do not wish to drive after having fun in town and enjoyed the wine, beer, and cocktails available in town. It takes about 15 minutes for them to reach us.
Cab
Our guest house is contracted with Pegas Taxi which is said to give the best cab service in town. It gives lifts to downtown Kosice for reasonable fares.

Guest House
The Zlaty Jelen guest house means “The Mythical Stag” of the ancient Hungarian legend. The stag is a symbol of resurrection, renewal, and the sun. We built the guest house from start to finish with this in mind, because we want you to wake up every morning here feeling fresh and invigorated both mentally and physically.
The location of our guest house
Our guest house is situated on the outskirts of Kosice in the so-called “Hills of Bankó” which has for centuries been a favorite holiday resort of the local population. This area is regularly frequented by locals who are looking for ways to relax after a hard day’s work, for example by walking, running, or riding their bicycle. The close proximity of the woods is a guarantees fresh air, and a refreshing environment. In other words it’s an island of peace and quiet in our noisy world.

Our swimming pool is 3 meters by 7 meters and 1.4 meters deep. The water quality is ensured using the latest technology. After a refreshing swim you can relax in the large green garden with forest surroundings in a silent and peacefull environment.
Parking
Free parking with surveillance cameras is provided for our guests.
